Star Trek Two Whales

Washington State has everything

Located between Canada and Oregon State, Washington State is primarily known for being home to Seattle. Seattle is absolutely a city to visit, and quickly became one of the most popular destinations on the West Coast. But what do you do if you live here and they started to take Washington for granted?

First things first: when year is it? If you live on the Washington coast, and it is between the months of June and October, it rains probably like crazy. The rain is nice and comfortable for days. Then it quickly becomes cold and miserable loses its novelty. Head towards the climate sunnier and drier in eastern Washington!

Here are some places to visit in Eastern Washington:

Spokane! Located in eastern Washington, Spokane is the third largest city in the Northwest, after Seattle and Portland. It houses a five-Star Resort and a wonderful independent bookstore called Auntie books. There is a lot in Spokane dryer than it is anywhere on the coast of Washington and when water comes to be too, head inland to stay in one of the poshest hotels in the Northwest!

If you want to fully adopt the moisture you can go whale watching. Whale Watching is better to be off the coast of Washington with a tour on a big boat and safe, but readers more adventurous might try to paddle beyond the breakers in their own kayaks. Some companies offer guided kayak tours. Killer whales migrate directly on the coast of Washington and it is not uncommon to see five or six in one trip!

Aberdeen: Rock and roll music lovers can not go to Washington State (or live here) Aberdeen without visiting at least once. What exactly Aberdeen has to offer? Well, it is a small picturesque town in the south Washington has not much to do … but it is the former home of Kurt Cobain. Kurt Cobain was the singer and founder of a small group called Nirvana fans and serious music must be at least one pilgrimage in their lives to pay tribute to the man who alone created nearly Grunge and alternative music.

Northwest Trek: If you love nature and fauna, especially the kind you find in Washington, you'll love Trek the Northwest. The trek is a natural park which covers more than seven hundred acres and is home to two hundred native Northwest animals. Hikers will be able identify different types of bears, wolves, lynx, owls and eagles (among others). This is a walk through park is dedicated to educating visitors on all of the beauty that the Northwest has to offer (which must be protected). Better than any other traditional zoo, This offers visitors the chance to see wildlife in a close and personal way.

These are some things that Washington has to offer. Much people do not realize how much fun this state can be!
