I arrived on the name of Randy Pausch by someone who knew I liked the field goals. Pausch was a professor at Carnegie Mellon University in the U.S., who knew he would soon die of pancreatic cancer.
He gave a lecture called the last conference in 2007, which became and is still a big hit on YouTube.
When you look (and I suggest you go to YouTube and search), you'll see why it is so popular.
Pausch gave a humorous account of his dreams and how which he went about achieving them. It covers some technical mental attitude, how you can fight, or help you with your attitude, and ends by saying that the conference is for her children. Watch Thick As Thieves in Free Online
He died in 2008, but after the success of his lecture in which he joked about wanting to be Captain Kirk as a kid, director JJ Abrams asked him to film a brief appearance to be included in the next film.
Pausch did, and is featured in cameo film – early Pausch appears as a crew member and wrote the line "Captain, we have a visual.
Normally, this kind of appearance is not remarkable, but as part of his lecture and theories of what can happen when you take certain actions, it is dynamite to watch!
